The worst floods in Pakistan’s recorded history have affected some 20 million people in that country. And warnings of more flooding this week have increased the urgency of a massive international relief effort. Among those giving aid is the Taiwan Red Cross, which said Monday that it will donate $100,000 US dollars in relief money to Pakistan. The floods began more than two weeks ago in the mountainous northwest and have spread throughout the country.
